Left is a quad using 4 Rc timer motors using Rc timer 30 amp esc's and stabalised with 3 gyros a 3 cell 2200 lipo battery provides ample power for 8 minutes flight. The quad is flown with the same controls as a helicopter, although the only control actually is variation in the motor speeds. The helicopter controls are simulated on the transmitter with a mixer board.

Above is a slightly bigger quad. a little more stable and less sensative on the controls to fly.
